Have searched the net in vain on this one!
I have a small portable ASUS Eee PC, and need to save space.
I only ever use the Edit part of my Elements 6, so is it possible to install only that?
thanks

Joedi, I assume that it is Windows-based Eee, didn't some models come with Linux?
Anyway, I don't think you can selective install only the edit component, if the installation process gives you a"Normal" and Advnced" option at the beginning, then it may be possible.
Since Organizer and other components are "free standing" executables (with supporting DLLs, my thought would be to do a full install, and start by renaming the extensions on the PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe to see if there is any probelm when Editor is launched. If not, there would be nothing stopping you from deleting it and any other files you can live without. That alone with save 30MB of HD space.
Not a very elegant solution, I know, but with HD real estate at a premium, it may help.

There used to be a way of removing the organiser and I pretty sure that someone recently said it worked with PSE6.
... but if you do remove it then you won't be able to access all the things that are linked to the Organiser.
