I just stumbled on to this message board, what a great resource here, I plan to hang out here and learn form all of the information here, and hopefully can add a little here and there too.

Here is my problem ~ I have Photoshop Elements 6. I got PSE and my 18,000+ pictures copied over to my external hard drive so that I could work on both my desktop computer and my laptop computer, both systems running on XP. Everything was running perfect, until my desktop computer crashed! Thank goodness I knew my photos were safe on the external. Now that I have the new computer up and running, it's Vista, I'm trying to access photoshop on the external. It's not working, I'm not sure why, I've tried pulling directly from the external, I've installed PSE on my desktop and pointed to the external, I get a message that "Photoshop can't start or continue because of missing files, plese reinstall,"

Anyone have any suggestions? I've searched the Adobe site with no luck. Do you think this is an XP/Vista issue? Any ideas on how to remedy this? Any help would be greatly appreciate, I'm pulling my hair out over here.
