I'll crop the picture that I want to use and then I click on create...artwork...frames. The frame I want to use is the rectangle soft. When I apply it to my photo and save, the background edge around the photo is white, which is fine if my website background was white but the background of my website is black. How do I change the white around the photo to black? I tried cropping the white out but it still shows around the rounded corners plus I don't want to end up cropping out the fade of the frame. Any suggestions?

When you use the frame it crops to transparency but the jpeg format doesn't support transparency so uses white instead. You can get round that by saving as a png file with transparency (use Save for web and make sure the tranparency box is checked). Then on your website it should just show the background color.

Alternately you could put a black background layer under the frame layer and then save as a jpeg - now the background in the jpeg will be black.
