Removing fence from picture

Sooo, my challenge is that I took a picture of a bird through a fence. Because of the setting on the camera the fence looks more like a "hase" and all colors and shapes of the bird can be seen in the picture. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I remove the fence without ruining the rest of the picturehttp://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif

You will get better advice if you post a photo on pexentral for us to see.
The greater the "hase" the more difficult, if not impossible to correct.
