I am sure there is a tutorial, I just can't find it.
I have PSE6
I want to create a montage using crop shapes.
I have a background image
I place a few other images on top
Then I want to use a few different crop shapes on the inserted images
and have them show up on the background image in the crop shape border.
Boy, I hope that makes sense to someone.
Thanks in advance.

You need to alternate custom shape layers with the image layers and then group (Alt click between the layers) the image to the shape layer underneath. It's also called making a clipping mask You can then move/resize any layer to adjust what shows where. Anywhere that doesn't have a shape will show the background. Your layers should look like this when you're done:
2641

PS Make sure you use the custom shape and not the cookie cutter/crop shape - that won't work.
