problem with opening a 2nd copy in editor

I was trying to follow Dave Cross's video on adjusting exposure in camera raw. After he does his first adjustments in ACR, he clicks on open image to open it in editor. He then clicks on file> open recent edited > xxxx. This opens the same file in ACR again and he proceeds with more adjustments.

When I do this step nothing happens, it won't open a second copy of the image. Has anyone tried this yet?

Same here. After reading your post I tried it and nothing happens. Dave gets a little clock cursor and then the file opens up, I get nothing.

Anyone else tried it and can explain where we may be going wrong?

Bayla, you think it may be that he has the Apple version?

He is indeed using a Mac and it doesn't work quite that way with Windows. See this thread for how to do it in Windows:

It does indeed work differently between Mac and the PC ... I hadn't noticed that before ..
