Shaping Text - I'm new

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sue6246 and I've never posted before on one of these so forgive me if I'm a bit slow here.

I want to have my text follow a shape such as a scroll but can't seem to find a way to do that. I've seen text that seems to follow various shapes and I want to do that. I have PSE6 and Vista. I'm fairly comfortable playing with PSE, but I can't figure this one out.

PSE cannot do that task. You have to put each letter on a separate layer and move it to where you want it. :( Very sad, but true.

See if this is still available. Free download for some text path that will work in elements. Hearts, squares etc. It is a zip file so you will have to unzip it to make it work or Type the words text path into the search box found on the tool bar at the top of this page for many posts that are linked to that subject.

This is one of the things that is on my wish list for Elements (Photoshop is able to do it but not Elements) ... but until then its a case of using a workaround :(

A partial work around is the warp text feature. Could also try the transform modes.
