Newbie Question

I am brand new to this and was wondering how you go about superimposing someone's head on another's body. We have a family reunion coming up and I thought it would be neat to do this.]

There are a lot of ways to do this, one is to use the clone tool. Another would be to select the head of the subject and CTRL J it to its own layer, then use the move tool to drag that layer into the picture with the body. I would then resize and use the eraser (with a soft edge) to blend it better.

There are those more skilled than I, in Elements and with directions, that will probably give you a more precise answer but this is a start.

I think that the method already given (a rough selection around the head, copy it to the new image and then erase away the excess) is probably going to be the easiest way if you don't have much experience using Elements :)
