I am editing my first wedding pictures. The pictures look very pixiley is there any way to fix that?

What's the Megapixels of your camera? Are these straight out of the camera? What quality did you shoot them? What's the size and resolution of the photos? And, what size are you viewing them at?
Can you post a copy on pixentral?

Hi,

The descriptive word you probably mean is "noisy" rather than "pixely." The photo appears to have plenty of pixels.

Definition: Noise in digital photos consists of any undesirable flecks of random color in a portion of an image that should consist of smooth color. It is somewhat similar to the "snowy" appearance of a bad TV signal. Digital images shot in low light or with a high ISO setting often exhibit this undesirable noise. In a way, noise is the digital equivalent of film grain, but noise is generally undesirable, while grain can be desirable. In fact, some digital photographers will curse noise one minute, and the next they may try to create film grain in digital photos for an artistic effect.

LShipley, You can do an adequate save of your photos this way:

1. Duplicate the photo by going to Layer>Duplicate Layer

2. Once duplicated and the layer is active change the mode by going to the pull down menu and selecting Screen

3. If once is not light enough all you have to do is duplicate the layer again and it will get lighter. I don' think you will have to duplicate more than twice

4. If you want to correct part of the photos that becomes a little more complicated. We would have to know your level of expertise with elements in order to instruct you.

As far as the Digital Noise you should follow diana's suggestion.
