View Full Version : replace sky with Elements (mac)

Sorry if this has been covered already but can anyone tell me if you can replace the sky in a photo, like you can in PS CS2
I'm on the latest Mac version

yes, follow the same procedure.

If your not familiar:
1. Select the sky you want and go to Edit>Copy. It would be easier if it were the same size and resolution as the photo it's going into. If not, then you can scale it to fit.

2. Select the area you want the sky to replace and go to Edit>Paste Into.

3. Position the sky and enlarge or reduce it to fit the area.

I always tend to use the eraser tool particularly if the skyline is complicated with buildings etc.
Then save as. This image is then inserted over the sky of your choice.
