Cut from 1 pic & add to another???HELP

Hi there,

I am trying to cut out a sign in 1 picture and paste it in another picture. I understand how to use the cloning device...but that is for using in the same photo. How do I take 1 item from a photo and add it to a totally different photo? I am usuing Elements 6...

you can use the magnetic lasso on your sign. ctrl j to put this on a new layer then drag this layer down into the photo in your bin you want to to go into. I believe you can use the clone tool and clone from one picture to another.
