I have about 80 images; that are currently all the same, but too big. I want to reduce the size and resolution, keeping them all the same; just smaller.
Is there a way to do that to all 80, in one step? :confused:

If you want to use them for some purpose where they need to be smaller then you should probably make duplicates of the original images and reduce the duplicates in size while retaining the originals. The only reason to reduce the originals is if you absolutely positively know that you will never have a use any of those images again at their original size. I wouldn't want to make a bet that I would never need them again.
As for reducing the duplicates all at once... I am not sure how to do it in Elements, but if you were working in Photoshop you could create an action to do it.

In Editor: File->Process Multiple Files (I strongly agree with Goddess ... do not overwrite your originals, so do not ... oh nevermind, I won't tell you how to overwrite your originals)
In Organizer: File->Export->As New Files
