Hi,
Could some one direct me to a good source for printing info using PSE 6. I have a canon PIXMA iP5200r printer and i'm concerned that i may not be printing with the best color profile...the options are a bit confusing. I tried the canon website looking for ICC profiles, trying to navagate that website is enough to drive you crazy, no luck. Any help would be appreciated...thanks...Leigh

In Photoshop CS2 I assign sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and let Photoshop Determine Colors.

In PSE 2 I guess you could go to
PS Elements>Color Setting>Full color management-optimized for print
Choose Print with Preview
In page setup choose your printer and paper size
After clicking on Print you will get a menu to choose your paper profile.
Choose the profile for the paper your using and click Print a top quality photo.
Perhaps a PC contributor will come on and instruct you further.

Leigh, you need to go to the Download Library for your printer. Start with this link, in particular the products menu. I hope this link works for you. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=DownloadIndexAct.

When you get to your printers downloads, you will need to select your O/S and then check for the latest driver which appears to be Ver. 2.0 dated 12/01/2006. Good luck.
