Anyone have a link on how to do HDR in Elements 6?

You'll find out plenty if you click the Search link at the top of any page, then in the Google search field, type HDR and click Search.

"HDR" is too "small" for the on-board search engine.

Possibly add 'pseudo' to your search, since true HDR can't be done in PSE...

HDR cannot be done within PSE6. Try this link: http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-high-dynamic-range-hdr-software.htm

This tells you a little about it and has links for free HDR software.

I don't know how good it is, because I just ordered this book today. But this book has a Section on High Dynamic Range.
Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 Maxium Performance by Mark Galer ISBN # 9780240520926, I have been wanting to do HDR for so long. I can't wait to try it.

Can't do real HDR in PSE. There's info on fake HDR, but it's real fake. You need to:

1. Make a series of exposures, varing only shutter speed, typically +2,0,-2, or +4,+2,0,-2,-4. Best to use tripod and autobracketing.
2. Load images into HDR software like Photomatix (http://www.hdrsoft.com/), Picturenaut (http://www.hdrlabs.com/picturenaut/index.html), etc
3. Create 32-bit HDR file and then tonemap.
4. Touch up in PSE.

Read: "The HDRI Handbook" by Christian Bloch
"Mastering HDR Photography" by Michael Freeman

I just finished reading Michael Freeman's book "The Complete Guide to Light and Lighting in Digital Photography" and he has a section in it about HDR. He wasn't even all that impressed with how CS3 handles it. He says that using a program like Photomatix is much easier and gives you better control over the original conversion.
