Have been attempting to install my newly received copy of 3.0 on my iMac (1GB SDRAM) running 10.3.5. Everytime that I attempt to start Program I get a message "Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information". Tried reloading, repairing persmissions, etc nothing works. To be sure that I did not have a bad CD, I loaded in on my PowerBook(running 10.3.5 and with 1GB of ram) and it worked as advertized. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Sorry skywalker, I use Windows and our Mac guy (at work) isn't here anymore. I did a quick search with Google and came up with two hits, one in German and one in... Chinese? Japanese? Anyway, the German one has instructions in English, but for Photoshop CS. I'm not sure if this will help, but here's the link: http://99mac.se/forum/showthread.php?t=38801

I don't have PSE3 yet, but the first thing I'd try is to delete the preferences in the your Home/Library folder. For Elements 2, it was :

home (your name)/library/preferences/com.adobe.photoshp.elements.plist

If a similar file exists for PSE3, then trash it and restart the application.

There's also this folder that seems to contain personalization information :

home / library / Preferences / Photoshop Elements 2.0 Prefs

Make sure you have read / write priviledges on all these files.
