Hi everyone, I've just found this forum after getting version 6 this afternoon. I had 4 on the desktop but it wasn't working for me on the laptop. I'm a small business owner and mom to two boys, adding our 3rd baby in January. I'm really good at searching old threads for things so I will probably lurk for quite awhile, but I wanted to say hello anyways. :)

Thanks for the welcome! I'm already trying to figure out where to start. :o I'm not completely happy with my in-camera skills, but I figured that if I waited until I was totally happy to start working with editing, then I wouldn't ever get to it. I don't get alot of time to take pictures of things other than my boys and my work, but it's a start. :)

Hi Caren ...
Probably the best place to start is the Subscriber area of this site ..
http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/
Not only do you get 8 newsletters a year but you also get access to a Subscriber area that is packed with tutorials ... (over 300 last time I counted) :)

Hello Caren and welcome,
I spent a lot of time searching when I finally decided to learn Elements. Learned a lot. Sounds like you're quite a busy lady-hope to see you around...

Welcome to the village, Karen. Jumping right really helps with the learning-if nothing else helps you figure out which questions to ask.

Hi Caren,
I'm from Rochester Hills, MI. When I first started, I spent many a stolen hour just reading the archives and looking at the galleries. And then jumped in and did my first effect. This is a great group. They know EVERYTHING.
