Question, I am trying to figure out how to create a file/image that will rotate between several images. It is to be posted on a website and I want to rotate between several different images.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Similar to the images in this site.

I am glad that you posted the example of what you are looking for.

You did not say what program you are working with, Photoshop Elements 6, I presume.

My answer is: Animated GIF

Basic Idea:
1. Bring your photos into Photoshop Elements 6 and layer them in the Layers Palette, that is, photo 1 = background layer, photo 2 = layer 1, photo 3 = layer 2, and so on.

2. Leave just photo 1 (background layer) with its visibility icon on.

3. Then go to File Menu/Save for Web and use the animated gif feature there. I will go into more details later if necessary, but main things:

GIF
Animate
check "loop"
Frame Delay about 1 sec
Be sure to Preview In:

Then save the file.

Let us know if this works for you.

Those images were created using Flash.

anigif will work as described, but it will both degrade the photo quality (gif files are limited to only 256 colors) and result in a HUGE filesize.

If it's going on a website, explore some scripts available for creating alternating images / slideshows based on DHTML.

Thanks so much! It worked like a charm! I am not too worried about the photo quality because it is being used as a thumbnail only 150 pixel height. It looks great and as soon as the site is live, I will post it.

Thanks again, I have been trying to figure that our forever!
