Remove Bars from Animal Cages

Is there anyway to remove those annoying bars from cages that house animals so just the animal shows? I have tried adjustment layers & blur without any success. Thanks so much for any help.

Your best bet would be a combination of the stamp and smudge tools. You can also probably copy and paste in some area, this would depend on the subject.

The trick in using the stamp is a small brush size and make many selections.

Adjust the brush size to where the stamping looks natural. You can also alter the opacity of the stamp.

Also choose a proper brush size for the smudge, so that it doesn't move too large an area.

Remember whatever you do it has to look natural.
