Hi everyone.
I need serious help here. I shot pics of my nephew in raw to be able to control the colors, etc.. Well, I can fix exposure pretty cool, but the blanket, which is blue, gets totally overexposed. I have try the hue-sat settings and it works a bit, but nothing compared to the blue on the basic jpg pic I shot with the raw. I hope I am making sense here.. Please help!

Ayuda.. ayuda! sorry, I sound like Dora.. LOl..
Thanks all.
Ana

When using Adobe Camera Raw, the Recovery slider can sometimes improve overexposed areas of a plot

Ana, although it is difficult to make a specific recommendation without seeing the image, most images (RAW as well as JPGs) will require some additional tweaking in CS3 or PSE. After making your adjustments including trying to tone down the highlights as dj_paige recommended with the Recovery slider, click Open Image and launch into PSE. Using your selection tool of choice, make a selection of the "blanket", then add an Adjustment Layer (try Levels and/or Hue Saturation) and make your adjustment(s) just to the selected area of the image.
