I posted this question in another forum before realizing that there was this forum for PSE6 users, so here goes...
I'm trying to organize my photos using organizer, but I have a bunch of duplicates in my organizer catalog, so I need to delete them. Currently, when I highlight a section of thumbnails and have organizer move them to files listed by yyyymm, I get an error message that some of the thumbnails can't be located (those are the duplicate photos usually). Organizer tries to do an auto search for them, but is usually unsuccessful. I then try to choose to cancel the process of looking for those missing files and just move the remaining files to my new location. Then I have to check the new file to make sure the photo has been moved there. Next, I begin deleting the ? duplicate files.
I'm having to click on properties of each duplicate file to see where it is located in the computer. Is there a setting within PSE6 where I can automatically see the folder location along with the filename under the thumbnails in the catalog. I've got it set up now where I see the filenames.
Thanks for any assistance.
