Yesterday I tried to download the trial,it took like 35 minutes to do it and the it said there was an error and did'nt download.I tried it again and it won't let me because it already has my email on file.
What do I do now?
Another question,I dont know what you call it,but I tried out PSP X2 and it has this tool that you can brighten or darken hilights, midtones,or shadows. That tool is one that is very usefull.
Does PSE 6.0 have a tool like that?
If not,I may have to opt for PSP X2.
Thanks

You could always try downloading under a different email address. What was the error message?
I'm still on PSE5, but it has several tools for highlights, mitdtones, and shadows. Under the basic toolsets that come standard in PSE5 there is the Shadows/Highlights tool that will lighten shadows, darken highlights, and adjust midtone contrast. Then there's the Brightness/Contrast tool for adjusting those parameters up or down. And then there's the Levels tool for adjusting all of them, and can also do color correction. Each one operates a bit differently, and all are useful to one degree or the other. There are also layer adjustments for each of these tools. I haven't heard anyone say these are missing in PSE6.

No,it did'nt say it was a wrong address.
What was so agrivatine it took about a 1/2 hour to finish, then it said it was unable to download.
I do have another I could use,but I try not to use it for things like that.

Yeah..it can be aggravating when something like that happens. But downloads can fail for a variety of reasons. All I can say is to try it again. And its real easy to create another email address for things you may not want to use your "real" address for. Between work and my personal ones, I've got more than I can shake a stick at. I keep a hotmail account for the stuff I don't want to get spammed on later.

Did you try to open the download? There are times when you get the error message but the download was complete.
The only way to find out is to attempt to launch it.

I'm retrying it now, showing that it will take 37 minutes from the time I hit download.
Seems like a long time, but if it don't work and I can't test it,I may just have to settle for PSP X2.
Just called Sams Club and they have it,when asked if I could return it if I did'nt like, they said yes.But I would varify that at the CS desk or manager before I bought it.
Thanks,

You say that you are trying to download a trial version of Photoshop Elements 6 from the Adobe web site. Is that correct?
If so, what browser are you using? If it is Mozilla Firefox, try Internet Explorer instead and see if then your downloading is successful.
