Hi everyone! I joined a few days ago and have spent some time exploring the site. I have already learned so much here and look forward to becoming an active member.
I work but for the last 5 weeks I have had 2 carpel tunnel surgeries and so have been off. I decided it would be a good time to learn the elements 4.0 program that I bought in 2006 and really did nothing with besides edit pictures. Then after a couple weeks I found elements 6.0 along with onone essentials on ebay for a great price and bought them. So that is what I am currently using.
On my last visit here, somewhere I ran across a picture that someone posted of her daughters at the beach, I don't know that proper terms but it was a large photo with foup others overlayed on top, anyway I thought it would be perfect for my grandkids pictures of the recent vacation they took. So I tried it and love the way it looks and I have made a few others since. With 10 grandchildren I have a lot of subjects to work with.:)
I mostly have learned through trial and error so far.
I am normally a doll maker/sculpter artist type person but I think I am hooked on elements now too. I am saving for a better camera, none of the pictures in my grouping were taken with my camera, my DIL's have sent the ones I have used to me.
Anyway, sorry to be so long. If you would take a trip to my blog and see what I have done I would appreciate it. Any tips on what I could do better would be great! http://atticrosecreations-kerry.blogspot.com/
Thanks!!
Kerry

Welcome to the forum! Lots of nice folks here, ready to answer PSE questions. You'll have a ball hanging out here!

You have some fun stuff on your blog. I like the butterfly image with your granddaughter. Very creative.

Hi Kerry, welcome aboard. Your work looks great, you are very obviously an artist. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.....in our gallery perhaps???? Ten grandies, wow! I have three, and quite frankly they are sick to death of my camera. I have been asked to ease up on them...:p

Thank you so much everyone for the welcome! I am trying to figure out how to post pictures if I want to do a challenge, I don't see them being posted from the gallery but from Pixtral or something like that.
I did challenge pictures just for fun of #5 and I think it was #8 challenges.

Hi again Kerry,

here (http://www.pixentral.com/) is the link for Pixentral. We usually make our image sfw about 750px on the longest side.

After sending your pic you copy the stuff in the bottom block (just scroll down) that says forum (I just click three times in it) and then paste it into your post on the forum. It looks like a lot of gobblegook until you send it, and then hey presto you see a thumbnail of your image that people click on to see a larger image.

Hope you can follow my instructions.
