Elements5 errormessage - codec

when I try to add one particular .wma file - Elements give me the error message : "the selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compresser/decompresser (codec ) installed" - I have tried to download and install the K-lite codec pack...., still no luck.

Can anyone help, please ?

What is your operating system? Windows?

Is this wma coming from a CD? If so, have you explored getting it from there into Windows Media Player as a mp3?

Have you tried converting the wma to mp3? Maybe with iTunes.
