Since it looks like Val is home from Hawaii and we are far from winter (in this hemisphere anyway) it seems a good time for this fun shot that Val sent.

Hi, Ellen! Thanks for giving this up for some help! This is the first-place winning snow scuplture from a competition held annually (weather permitting) each January. We have lots of pin oaks in northern IL that don't shed their brown leaves until winter, and they provided a nice, dark backdrop for this scuplture.

Thanks Val for a fun and interesting photo. I used Watercolor Tut by Billd and added Sprayed Strokes Filter and Overlay Blend Mode. I also added a levels layer adjustment to bring back some of the color. Then I closed all the layers except the Texture Layer.
