PSE6 frequently won't open

:eek: PSE6 frequently won't open requiring me to run repair or even uninstall then reinstall. I also run Kodak Easy Share for my camera and Picasa2, but not sure they interfer as I can run them with PSE6 still working.

Any ideas?

My system is:
Dell Dimension 8400
3.2 Pentium 4
4 GB Ram
160 Ran HD
Windows XP Home SP3
AVG Anti-Virus , SpyBot

Just bumping the post up. I have a mac, so can't really help. Have you tried resetting preferences?

this was happening to me and it ended up being that I had install a filter in the wrong place. The way I figured it out was watching it while it loaded. In the blue circle at the begining it goes through all the initializing and when it got to the filters everytime it would pop up and say that it couldn't open. Once I removed the filter I haven't had anymore problems.
