And yet another really nice tutorial. It's easy yet really looks great on a variety of photos-judging from the ones posted so far.
Your flowers all look great.
Toni, who would think that a pile of old tires could look so artistic! I love the ocean, too.
Suzanne, it looks great on your people. Sometimes the different tutorials can make the people look weird..
I think that I will be using this one often!

Bill, those tyres look just a little shiny......sure you don't want to borrow a couple of mine?;)

we are definitely an arty bunch :D

Toni - gosh those tyres look artistic, love the seascape too.

George - a lovely canal scene, great reflection.

Clara - I love hydrangeas and that one is perfect. The dandelion head could be made of very fine crystal or glass, it's lovely.

Suzanne - yes people and the arty/sketch techniques don't always go together but this looks fine.

Sharon - that's very nice and a great shot.

Carol - very peaceful, actually shots with the sea or water do look good with this technique.

Fish - that's cool, and ditto above re. shots with the sea.

Pete - a pretty flower border, looks great. The view is super, I like how you kept the definition of the clouds, sometimes the sky goes into 'sections of blue' with the cutout filter.

Mary Lou - gorgeous poppies, they would have to be my fave of the two, but the bird house is very pretty too.

Sepiana - both of those are lovely.

Bill - terrific, it looks painted.

MassBud - great street scene and it definitely suits the technique.

Tony - such a pretty scene.

Martha - works well on the snow scene,

aa6660 - very nice.

Julie - cool look on the buildings and very cool on the graffiti.

Al - super Java Moose, it looks great, love the brown/yellow tones.

Val - both are beautiful.

Bayla - it looks great on that image, and your picture of your granddaughter at the wedding for last week's BC is absolutely gorgeous.

Kim - that's very pretty.

Coco - we missed you heaps, great that you are back :), and a lovely clematis shot, so pretty. Edit - should be passion flower.

thanks everyone, do pass by tomorrow for a new one,

Lisa

Lisa,

Thanks once again for taking the time to comment on all our efforts!

And call me a pedant if you want, but I rather think that Coco's shows a Passion Flower rather than a Clematis.....

Lisa, I don't know how you manage so many positive responses each week, but we really appreciate you, you are wonderful!!!!

PS I thought it was a passion fruit flower too. Hope Coco comes in to put us on the right track.;)

Thank you

thanks Bayla, now I know :o, I'm not a gardener or botanist by any stretch of the imagination.
Actually I took some shots of one of these flowers at the weekend and as it was growing in between clematis, I assumed it was one of those, but I stand corrected :) and will just put 'lovely flower' next time :D that should keep me out of trouble, ;)

Lisa thanks so much. You're right about it being a passion flower and I had no idea what a clematis was. I only know passiflore (passion flower) because my friend grew them in his back yard and I love how passiflore sounds and they can be striking. You are so kind to take the time to look at all our contributions and find something positive about each of them.
