Edit Jpeg In Camera Raw

Hi,
This my first question to the forum, hope one of you can help.
I have just played Matt Kloskowski’s tutorial “Fix colour in underwater photos” and he uses camera raw to edit a jpeg.
Great I thought, wrong, cannot get it to work. I have followed the tutorial to the letter with no luck.
I am using PSE6 on windows XP.
Anyone in forum land had the same problem and managed to solve this?

Just watched it and I see the problem. Matt is doing it on a Mac and there's a difference between a Mac and a PC that he forgot to point out.

In the Windows version you use File>Open As (not File>Open) and then select Camera Raw in the drop down. Then it will open the jpeg in Camera Raw.

For the benefit of those who don't have PSE6:

For anyone with PSE5 they would need to update the ACR plug-in for this to work and with PSE4 (Windows) you'd need to update it to version 4.1 (later versions won't work in the Windows version but they will in the Mac). PSE3 and earlier users won't be able to do this.
