Upgraded to PS 6

Hi All

This is my first post, I have just upgraded from PSE 5 to version 6 via the Adobe site. Issued with new registration number and installed ok. My question is; the update has not over written ver 5. but has installed in it's own folder. Is it now ok to uninstall ver 5.

Once you are sure that PSE6 is working as advertised, you could certainly un-install PSE5.

But what's the rush? Some people use both until they're sure that they're happy with the new version. It has been known to happen that some people don't like PSE6 and go back to PSE5.

I agree with Paige, keep both 5 & 6 until you are sure you are happy with 6. I still use both.

Just be aware that once you convert your PSE5 catalog to version 6 you can't go back so take a backup first.

Many thanks for your replies, will do as you suggest and keep Ver 5 on the PC.
