I know this may be a little off topic, but, any preferences for back up between flash drives or CD's? Seems flash drives are often on sale and take up less room, you can, I believe also erase?
Thanks
BBob:-)

"Format" is the term used to delete content from a flash drive (sometimes called jump drive). And, they do come in all sorts of sizes going into the GBs and have security features. On the other hand, a CD offering in this respect would be 700 MB/80 minutes. If you are thinking disc, the next step would be DVD with its standard 4.7 GB/120 minutes.
I think that it comes done to what works for you:
a. between computers use
b. storage ease and space
c. free USB ports
d. cost wise
Check out this link on the subject:

I do not know what the statistics are on a flash drive vs CD/DVD becoming corrupted after use.
