Hi,

Can anyone tell me the best way to fill my background layer with a pattern? I have downloaded brushes into my patterns stamp tool that I would like to use but I am unable to make the size large enough to fill the entire page with "one click". If I click multiple times on my page I get seams. I know this is probable really simple but I just can't figure it out! I know I can do an edit< fill with pattern, but I don't really like the patterns that are in there. The patterns that are in my pattern brush palette don't show up when I do "edit< fill with pattern". Hope I'm not being too confusing!:o I'm on PSE6.

Thanks!

It's easy to make a selection into a pattern: Select your square, Edit>Save Selection as a pattern. Here are some links on articles you might find helpful. About.com has a lot of information on pattern fills.

.If you want to make your pattern tile nicely, You can use the Offset filter or, much easier, Use the Quick tile filter in Simple Filters

I hope this is what you are talking about and that some of this information will be helpful
