Hello Sepiana, I really liked the landscape postings you posted after "painting"! I haven't been able to locate Scott Kelby's tutorial yet.....Did you ever determine its origin? Thank you, Dave, NC, USA

Dave,

Thanks for your comment. I'm answering your question here, so everyone can benefit.

1. A Google search points to the direction of Scott Kelby's Dirty Tricks (Photoshop CS or 7).

2. A video by Dave Cross (Painterly Effect, 09/30/2005) in the Subscriber area follows basically the same steps as Kelby's, with just different settings in some of the filters.

3. The tutorial link below, provided by Lisabee, for Creative Week #34, is exactly like Kelby's and will yield the same results.

4. If you're referring to the Brazilian Riverfront image, I used the English Tea Can Effect tutorial provided by Tina B (Post #4) in the thread below:

Also, in the same thread, post #3, there are two links for this effect posted by Diana.

Hope this will help.

Sepiana, Obrigado!
Thank you very much for posting the info in such an orderly and complete fashion. I will tinker with this and maybe post something on "before and after" in the near future. I would like to try this on a portrait photo to give it a Cezanne look.

Cheers, Dave
