FADING MUSIC

Hi,
I only see two transitions for sound. How do I fade one song out and bring the next one in smoothly? I made it work once but that's because the song itself was ending and had started to fade out on it's own. In this case, I want to fade the song out in a place where it doesn't normally fade and then bring the next song in.

Hi,

you can use keyframes to lower the audio of the song you want to fade out.

To fade the music out, click on the audio track to make it active, place the play head where you want the music to begin to fade, and click the diamond shaped button on the left side of the audio track, that creates a key frame, Now set another key frame at the point you want the music to fade out completely. Move the play head to the spot you want and click the diamond shaped button again.

You should now have 2 diamond shaped points on your audio track.

Simply grab the last one and drag it to the bottom of the track.

Play it back to hear the gradual fade out :)
