Hi all,

I have created actions for photoshop elements simulating "Velvia" saturation as descried in various online tutorials. You can download actions here:

Thanks, Robert. I downloaded it to try, as well as your other two PSE actions.

Robert,

Are these actions compatible with PE4?

I downloaded the Velvia Saturation into Previews>Effects. When I open the Editor, it is listed in the Effects box, but nothing happens, when I click on it. There seems to be nothing to open.

Am I doing something wrong? I followed the download steps I used before for other actions.

Thanks in advance.

There is no PNG file included with the ATN files, which is needed in PSE6 to show up on the Effects menu under "Show All."

I created a PNG file for the Velvia-a30 action, but when I run it, I get a message saying: "The object 'a channel' is not currently available. Continue Stop"

When I click the Continue button, I get another message "The command 'Curves' is not currently available. Continue Stop"

Clicking Continue produces a couple more similar messages, but no effect.

I haven't had a chance to try the other two actions yet.

I downloaded the calculations action but couldn't do anything with it. I now realise that I need a png file also, thanks for that information Diana.
I left a message on Robert's web site to let him know I was having a problem with the action but I haven't heard anything back yet.
