Is there any way to slice out a piece of a song? I know how to put the music into the show and even how to end it when I want, but I want to take one verse out of the middle of the song and then let it continue. Can I do that?
Thanks

Hi,

You can do that but its going to take some time to make the restart of the
song smooth, when you cut out the middle.

If you cut it at the end of a verse you can do like the fade in fade out that I explained in your previous post. by fading out where you want it to end and fading the music back up from a cut at the restart point.

If you are just wanting to cut a verse and keep going with no fading that will take some play time.. making it sound good when it jumps from the endof the cut to the restart.

It can be done, but it's not usually a quick process unless you get lucky with the song and you cut it at an obvious break point.

Let me know how it goes

Thanks for the tips. But I guess I didn't ask...HOW do I slice out a piece of a song? I'm not sure how to mark and then make the cut.
Thanks so much for helping me. You've been a life saver.

Oops missed this question sorry.

put the song on the timeline, play to where you want to cut it, click on the razorblade tool and click at the spot you want to stop it at, that will place a cut in the audio track and then you can either move the other piece or listen
to the rest then make the cut at the next point in the same way and delete the part in the middle..
