I posted a question on this plug-in at another forum, but got no responses. Has anyone here used Color Mechanic Pro? Does it have any inherent advantages over the native Color Replacer tool in PSE 4 that would make it worth its $60 asking price?

Can't really help but why not try the 30 day free trial and see what it does (and tell the rest of us :)) - sounds like it might be easier to use than the Photoshop color replacement tools - especially those in PSE4 but whether you do enough color replacing to justify the cost is up to you.

Hi Tony - Since this plug-in has been around for a few years I was hoping someone may have already done the grunt work. From what little I have been able to find on the Internet, it suffers from the same drawbacks as Replace Color such as not working especially well with very pale or very dark colors. I do use Replace Color a fair amount in my editing efforts, frequently applying it to hair, eyes, clothing and other photo elements where I feel a color change might enhance the end result.
