Hello all,
I'm trying to create my own custom templates for photobooks because I don't like the layouts of the prepacked collage/photobook templates in Elements 6. I thought a clever way to do this would be to open a collage page in Elements 6, resize the canvas and the various "Click here to add photos" boxes to what I want, and just hit save for my own customized collage template.
However, I noticed that when I am resizing the photoboxes, the photos (or gray areas) are actually slightly smaller than the frame (the dotted line box that has the resizing controls). The original photo boxes have an effect applied (another reason I am making my own template), and even though I remove the effect, the photo is still slightly smaller than the frame on one side; maybe 1/32 of an inch. Since I use the snap to grid function alot, having the photo not align with the edge of the frame I am resizing is super annoying.
Is there a way to fix this? Or should I design my own "click to add photo" layer, and how on earth do you do that??
Thanks in advance!
