Help Menu Opens Media Player??

Installed Elements 6, no probs so far. Seems to work fine until I either press F1 or click Help from the tool bar.

Either way Windows media player opens and tells me it cannot open the programme!!

This can't right. Anyone got any ideas, its driving me mad!

Try finding the file. It's at:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Help\en_US\PhotoshopElements\6.0\PHOTO SHOPELEMENTS_HOMEPAGE.html with Windows XP - might be slightly different with Vista. Right Click, Open With and check that Internet Explorer is set as the program to open it with. (Or I guess you could use another browser though I haven't tried).

I find that the user guide is much better than the help files and searching it works better too. It should be on the disc or download and it should be called:

pselements_6_help.pdf

Thanks for the quick reply. I have just tried as you suggest in both IE and Firefox, however I still have the same problem with the media player appearing on screen.

I think I will have to resort to your other suggestion.
