Hello to all members!
On my forth time for trying to master Elements without trying myself up in knots and then giving up!
So besides introducing myself please bear with me if you get some silly sounding questions.......:)

Well, I don't know Suzie. After the fool I've made of myself on the forum this week, you will have to go a long way to dethrone The Queen of Silly! Anyway, welcome. This is a great place to learn. Shar

You may regret saying that..LOL :)
I have followed your copyright thread to the letter and everything works fine until I try to put the copyright onto an image. I find that I get a smudged repeated messy effect that looks awful. Also the colour is all to cock.
I only click once, very quickly but cannot get it to work. where am I going wrong...:(

Hi Suzie ...
OK then ... you made your copyright brush OK :)
So now you need to use it ...
Create a new layer above your image Layer>New>Layer
Then select as your foreground colour the one you want to use
Select your copyright brush ...
(just check at the top of the screen to make sure that you have the brush set to 100% opacity)
Then click once on the image ... you don't need to click fast in fact a fast click could mean that your hand shakes and the brush smears a little.
Let me know how you go on with that ... :)

Thanks Wendy, I have tried that and it makes no difference. The other thing I find is that the colour of my copyright is not black which is the colour of my foreground, its sort of transparent/white, and as soon as I click on the image it produces a number of the coyright images slightly offset to each other, similar to a ghost effect.
