HELP! I can't sav. "there is a problem accesing Organizer catalogue

Hi!
I am using elements 5 and this week when I try to save anything (even just a photo I have cropped) it comes up with this message

There was a problem accesing the Organizer catalogue. It may be in use by another process, or a disk error may have occured.

I have been using it for months without this error. I dont use the organizer, I just drag my pics onto tab at the bottom of screen.

Anyone have any suggestions??
I read somewhere on net that sometimes its fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling , but that even then it may do it again. I am hoping someone here may have overcome the same problem!
