Hello, I an a newbie just getting my feet wet. I've always loved taking pictures but I was a snap and print gal. Working in newspaper advertising I got to design ads, that was fun with the clipart. No longer in advertising (am a 911 dispatcher - 18 yrs) and travel more, so snap more pictures. I got tired of seeing everyone elses BEAUTIFUL photos so I asked....HOW? Photoshop kept being repeated. So I invested in Photoshop Elements6, Essentials2, a new Dell laptop, and a new Kodak Z712 IS....all for the hobbist, which evidently is now my hobby. I now try to look at the world with 'different eyes' to see photo opportunities, not just snapshots. And the learning I've done, by reading books, tutorials, and analyzing other's gallery pictures (thank you all btw for the clever ideas). I'm really excited to be learning this stuff, my family thinks I'm just a wizard with what I've been emailing them. I put a gallery up at Photoshopelementsuser.com under me: iamdogsmom.....your comments are welcome.
