I love working on car images, Ellen! Bill's the one who's always whining about them! (Dang Bill had to ruin it for the rest of us!)

mks - love the tutu. Very nice the way you transferred the design.
Steven - reminds me of the last scene of Dr. Strangelove. I've been humming "we'll meet again" since I looked at it.:)

Steven - Regarding your great image.... Freud? Really? hmmm... I just don't see it.
It does remind me of the old song, "Fly Me to the Moon." Although I know what I'm about to say is pure sacrilege to your ears, I love that song, but prefer the soul version by Bobby Womack, to the version by Sinatra. Please don't have me excommunicated from the forum for that statement, Steven! :o

Tony, now we know how she achieved that shape! I think it's very good. Rita

Bill - How do you keep doing that? Very fun image!
And, Larry, I'm afraid it doesn't look very good for your girl! Hope you've got bail money!
Tony - here's a little helpful hint.... buy her dinner first!

I was having a little trouble thinking of what to do with this one.
Bill-she makes a great hood ornament!
Kim-nice swimsuit! She does look a little like she could be surfing
Too funny, Larry! I like it.
Steven-a very creative use for her. What imaginations everyone has!
MKS-Neat image with the flags and the fireworks.

Bill - How do you keep doing that?
What? Who me? It's mere coincidence that Ellen chose to post yet another car image.:p You did a great job of cloning it out of your image though. Fun surfing image Kim ... and as always your instinct for decency is appreciated.
Martha - Thanks for the nice comment. Emma looks great in your image and she sure has a good teacher. I like the background you made ... it's very cool.

Martha, that picture of Emma is just precious. I love how your imagination works.

Also, Martha, where did you get that brush with the flowers and grasses at the bottom of your picture?

Thanks for the comments, Bill and Clara.
Clara, I'm not always so good at writing down where things came from and I downloaded these a year or more ago. I think that they are Hawksmont brushes, The title is "Fresh Foilage High Resolution Brushes" and I found them through a link on the forum. I really do like them.

I'm in awe. How do you all come up with all these ideas and techniques? I've never seen so much creativity in one single place. When I think I've seen it all, there comes another image that tops it all.
This is my first attempt at an EZ challenge and I'm totally embarrassed--my entry is like the runt of the litter. I have a long, long, long way to go.

Sepiana, not only is the creativity unending but did you see how perfectly the images are cut out!! Don't think mine will ever look like that!!
Mary Lou
BTW, I liked your image. Oh and I just spent a very long time working on a new one and of course I was too busy to save it as I went along and you know the end of the story...PSE closed down and I lost all my work!! Saving your work as you go is about as elementary a lesson as there is!!

Sepiana - Ohhhhh no you don't ... not so fast.
You have absolutely nothing to be in the tiniest bit embarassed about. Both of your entries ... the pencil sketch and Dave's tutorial effect ... were quite good.
You mentioned these were among your first contest entries ... you should be proud of them and especially proud to have jumped in to the challenge pool in the first place. It's how you'll learn.
We're all friends here, and we're all here to learn from and encourage one another. Some of the folks here have been doing this a long time, others not so long, but we're all teachers as well as students.
Keep your creative ideas working, come back here regularly, and the technical stuff will become clear quickly.
Thanks for playing ... we'll look forward to seeing more of your great work.
Bill
Edit:
... did you see how perfectly the images are cut out!! Don't think mine will ever look like that!!
Mary Lou - Yes they will!:D

I second everything Bill said! Any of the challenges are truly the best way to learn and to stretch your skills and your eye. Never be intimidated to post here of all places, we're all in this together.

Thanks Ellen. Some things go so easily and then some don't. I know that's how we learn.

Steven,
I made the same connection as Rita. Slim Pickens never looked so good, though!!!
