Here's about as far from a car as I have, it's from Morguefile and has been kicking around my computer for ages longing for a new life.

Here's what I did...Find edges, ink outline, overlay. (Personally I like it without any edits.)

I decided to see if I could reproduce the original figure but without the paint spatters. I selected the figure and filled it with black, then used a soft white brush to add light to areas lit in the original.
