Gorgeous page, Kev. Another reason I have always wanted to go to England. I'd love to spend 3 or 4 months there, but have a DH who isn't anxious to travel in "foreign" parts. And with the oil prices as they are, I'm afraid even our USA trips are going to be curtailed for the next couple of years, at least. :( Anyway, TFS. Shar

Lovely....so serene. I would like to visit, too, but DH would rather sit at home.

A montage of a beautiful part of England.

Kev, forgive me for editing your statement, but it should read "A BEAUTIFUL montage of a beautiful part of England." Well done! Isn't Wastwater the deepest lake in England? (Trying to brush up my geography.)

That's a really nice montage. I love the layout with the photo background.

It's funny, but I have photos that look very simialr to yours that were taking in NEW England--Vermont.

Sepiana,

I think you are right about the depth.

Bobbie,
thanks.
Maybe the early settlers called it New England because it reminded them of Home.

Very nice.

I'm surprised sometimes we don't see more pictures from England. To me there is not another country in the world that combines a beautiful landscape with the history of mankind.

For my wife and I, Great Britain is at the top of our list for a vacation outside the US.

Wastwater is indeed the deepest lake in England ... and if you like those sort of facts then this site is the one to visit:
