I have a really basic question but it's one that I can't seem to find the answer to.......

I don't want to print my 12x12 digi-scrapping layouts here at home. I'd rather upload and print somewhere else and have them mailed to me. I know of several places that people have recommended, but what I have a question about is the copy that I upload for the printing. Do I upload my original or do I upload my 'for web copy' ??

Definitely not for web. Upload a file that is 12 x 12 300 dpi. I would consult your printer as to what their requirements are before proceeding.

My guess would be your original.
Your best bet would be to go to the site where you plan on getting it done and see what resolution/size they recommend. They could even possibly have a maximum file size for uploading.:)

Okay thanks to you both! At least I know I'm working with the original for this purpose (unless I need to change the size due to their requirements). I had a feeling it wasn't going to be my 'for web copy' but I just thought I'd ask to be for sure. I'm assuming the for web copy would end up having terrible print quality, correct?

Thank ya!!

(I like that we can ask questions here and we aren't made to feel stupid! Thank you for that!)

If you have to change size post back for the best way of doing it.
