colour picker

I am having some trouble with my colour picker. No matter what colour i choose it always goes back to a horrible grey. I can get the defult,b/w but nothing else but the grey. This has only started yesterday and is driving me nuts.:confused:

Hi ..

Just check the mode of your image ... I think that it may be grayscale. To check it just do Image>Mode :)
