I'd like to batch watermark with an image rather than text. Does a plugin exist for such a function for PSE 6.0? It would simplify my workflow greatly.

northlander (http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/member.php?u=20669), If your intent is to batch process a bunch of photos by adding a watermark image (instead of using the TEXT watermark batch process in PSE6), it is not necessary to try and do it in PSE when there are a lot of standalone apps out there designed just for that purpose. Just google "Batch Watermark Images".
If you want some convenient way to watermark your images before printing, then there are several ways to approach it. One way is to save your watermark image as a PNG file (allows transparent background), and simply add it to your file as a new layer before printing; it can probably be stashed in the Effects pallet.
Another way would be to create a brush with your image, then "paint" your watermark on each image before printing.
A brute force way that might work in PSE, is to try and create your image as a font, then use PSE's built in watermark process to add your font image to each file in batch mode. I have read about it but never tried creating a font with an image, so I'm not sure it is really possible. I suspect a lot might depend on the watermark image you want to use.
