Bill- I don't want to irritate your allergy but clutter is one of the collective nouns for cats. I only have one but...

Ah-choo. I didn't know about clutter being a collective for cats Ellen. The stuff you learn. I'll leave that one for someone who won't end up sneezing all over their camera ... ewww.
I'm looking for clutter in desk drawers right now to see if I've left a paper clip out of alignment with the others, or perhaps one of the pens is not facing the proper way. What are the odds though? ;) I checked my toolbox earlier looking for a nail that I may have forgotten to wrap ... nothing. I may end up having to skip this one.

I'll have to save up for an extra-wide angle lens to get anything here, maybe a panorama.

And who named the collective noun for crows as a "murder?" I always thought that was a bizarre labeling.
Bill, you can get shots that allow you to tolerate the amino acids of cat saliva. It's a small sacrifice that will allow you to take in a cat or two. I have three or four I can send your way when you are ready.

Bill is my hero.
I mentioned to Mr. Lorri this morning that this week's challenge is "clutter."
Incredibly, I glanced in his office as I passed the door a bit ago and the place is spotless! Gleaming!
Bill, if you could do "nightstands" next week I would be most appreciative. And "closets" the following week...maybe "dresser drawers"....

Glad that worked out Lorri, and as long as I get to keep my 'hero' status I'll keep those suggestions under advisement, however I'd like to hear Mr. Lorri's counter-offer before I commit.:D

Great idea Lorri and maybe after that we could do kitchen cabinets and junk drawers...

Marie...love the PSE shortcuts taped to monitor :)
Kim - what the heck is that Chuckie-doll thing in photo #3? All of those snaps look like great candidates for Crop Challenge (or tuberculoisis...??)
Yikes!!

... and no, the glasses are not mine.;)
Bill,
I can't believe it! I've been looking for my husband's glasses all evening!! How on earth did they end up there?
And Byron, I have several drawers that look just like yours!! :)

Kim,
that is just so funny, well I mean to look at, not to live near :D. I also am laughing imagining you in disguise getting close enough for the shots, obviously if we ever need anyone to go undercover on a potentially dangerous mission, we need look no further ....

Byron,
that is one amazingly spotless 'stuff' drawer, not a speck of anything on any of those utensils, I'm impressed :D.
It also reminds me of those memory games, items on a tray that kind of thing :)

What a mess. Good entries as always folks.
Steven - Nice shot, composition and color. I like the starburst effect of the incandescent lights.
Clara - The colors do repeat nicely. I also like the vertical line on the right that crosses through the horizontal line of the signs.
Val - Nice job on the page curl effect and push pins! It's been awhile since I've seen a Cardinal Stritch decal ... thanks for the little flashback.
Sepiana - That's great theme interpretation! Very nicely done. (And thanks, but no on the offer for multiplying styles. Sounds frustrating.)
Mary Lou - Your image hit the theme on the head. I like the strong horizontal lines of the photo and the frame sets it off well!
Sharon - The subject matter is just sad ... there's no other word. Your photo captures it so well though. The composition is great and I love the colors. Did you adjust them? Regardless, it's a great shot and I can't help going back to it.
Martha - I like the colors a lot. The oranges and yellows work so well with the complimentary purple splash. I also like the way the wings on the left and the wings on top bring the eye to the model plane. Very fun.
Helen - It almost looks like a quilt! What a fun way to display your memories. The bottom border makes the image seem like a polaroid.
Carol - Yep ... that's clutter. It looks like you're on your way to a fine new kitchen though!
mks - I really like the computer monitor. It looks like it's producing some fun stuff ... I'd leave it alone and see what comes next. Also, the (very topical) wallpaper shot of Stonehenge is pretty cool.
Kim - It looks like the goats might actually be the saving grace:eek:. My favorite image is the second one. I like the inclined board to the right of center. I pulls the eye in nicely ... heck, it YANKS the eye in. Nice shots .. hope you're safe.
Bayla - This image too has a lot of strong lines directing the eye to the desk. Nicely done. I wonder if the inspirational poster is even needed.:D
Toni - Nice capture, you've gotten the closet and the text framed very nicely.
Chelle - Sounds like a very cluttered day.
Byron - Hey, that IS my drawer. As long as you were here you should have stayed for coffee. As always, a tack sharp shot. The 90 degree angle served you well to allow all four drawer sides to frame the image and almost instill some vertigo.
Good entries this week folks. There's still time for everyone else to mess something up and get an entry in!

Did you adjust them?
No, that is exactly the way mother nature landed them. Thank you.
