Any XP BUFFS HELP NEEDED !!!!!!!

Anybody able to help me please,i have just got myself a second pc,not new but one i am going to use for my photos.The problem i have come across is that when i now take photos in raw format and transfer to elements 5, is that i now also get an another file along side each thumbnail which is a xmp file.and that is along side all thumbnails please help,the same thumbnails installed onto other pc no xmp files loaded,im sure its just a click away but i dont know where to look.the settings are the same on both versions of 5.

I could be mistaken as I am still not up on my RAW processing. I thought any photo opened in ACR would create an XMP file.:confused:

Sorry gary, i havent explained it very well,what i ment say say was in my pictures after i have download then,on this pc along side the raw thumbnail i also get an xmp thumb nail,i dont if i download the same thumbnails onto the other pc.

Thanks for your help,i found the problem it was in bridge under camara raw prefs under general it was set to save image settings in sidecar xmp files,so changed setting to save in camara raw data base.problem solved many thanks
