Hi! I have been trying to create storyboard collages (10 x 20 print with 3 pics) using my Photoshop Elements 5 and I am having a lot of problems. I guess the main problem is I don't know how to do it and am trying to teach myself and it is not working. Does anyone know how to do this and can provide me with some instructions? I will greatly appreciate the help.

Open a new blank file with the size you want (10X20), (File>New>Blank File...>) and set the dimensions to 10X20 and resolution to 300.
Now open all three of the other source photos. Select your Move tool, and click and hold on each photo, one at a time, and drag the image over to your 10X20 and let the mouse button go. Each image should come into your new file as its own layer.
Depending on each photos original dimensions and resolution you will have to resize each to to fit on the 10X20 background.
Once all the images are added, you can close those three individual files out.
On your new composite again, click on one of the layers with the image that needs to be resized, choose the move tool, and you can reposition and resize each image that way.

Just a caveat to Jeff's great instructions...
sometimes on the photo, in order to get the Move tool to work, you have to first do a CTRL+A (select all) in order to grab the photo before you can move it.
Good luck with your project! Post back with other questions...

I found this link on another board. I think this is what you are looking for. You can download a PSD file the same size story board you are trying to create. There is also a video on how to make your own. Hope this is helpful.

Hi, Angelique. Welcome to the Village!
Thanks for the great link! Just an FYI teach4me... PSE doesn't have "guides" like full Photoshop does...instead, you have to use the grid feature. But having the template should make this project a snap!
