I've used the full version of photoshop for years. My company has just installed photoshop elements 6.0 on my workstation. I'm trying to open a simple pdf file. I'm going through the same processes as I have for years in photoshop. The dialogs are the same.
The problem I'm experiencing is when elements rasterizes the pdf file it shrinks my image size. This is a bad thing.
Can anyone please assist me in figuring out why elements is shrinking my images and explain how to make it stop? Thanks.

Shawnk,
not sure if this will help.
Go to Edit - Preferences - Saving Files - Maximise PSD File Compatibility and set to Always.
It's worth a try.

When you save the PDF file you should get a dialog box asking which compression option you want to use. Set it to None. HTH

Thanks kevq and juergen d. I've tried both of your suggestions. Unfortunely neither fixed the issue. I'm creating my pdf through microstation (CAD software). I'm creating a large sheet size (33"x44"). When I was creating my pdfs I had the setting adjusted to rotate the pdf 270 degrees (landscape). I adjusted it back to 0 degrees (portrait) and the pdf opened correctly in elements. elements seems to try to open the landscape image with portrait dimensions. I can get the pdfs to open correctly by specifying the dimensions manually.
